hollywood

The official movie trailer of the CRYPTO cyber-thriller has been uploaded on Monday by Rapid Trailer. Starring globally recognized Hollywood actors and actresses including Kurt Russell, Luke Hemsworth, Beau Knapp, and Alexis Bledel, the dramatic CRYPTO trailer portrays the story of an outcast Wall Street banker who manages to connect a rural art gallery to a global conspiracy involving the Russian mafia.

According its IMDb page, CRYPTO is produced by Yale Productions, BondIt Media Capital, and Dynasty Pictures, and directed by John Stalberg Jr. The film was written by Carlyle Eubank and David Frigerio, and is based on an original story by Jeffrey Ingber.

CRYPTO is set to air in selected U.S. theatres from April 12 and will also be made available through certain on-demand movie platforms, as per the ending of the trailer uploaded on Monday. The CRYPTO trailer can be watched below:

CRYPTO made headlines last July when The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported that Clay Epstein’s Film Mode Entertainment landed a “number of deals” in relation to CRYPTO; adding “Feel Good Entertainment for Greece, Eagle Films for the Middle East and Fox Asia for Pan Asia.”

The release of CRYPTO marks one of several crypto-focussed productions preparing to hit both the big- and small-screen throughout 2019. Indeed, Entourage star actor Kevin Connolly created a stir earlier in the year at Miami’s North American Bitcoin Conference; announcing his involvement with Cryptos, a comedic drama expected to launch on prime-time television later in the year.

Also, last May saw Beyond Bitcoin – a documentary about the fast-moving, dynamic world of cryptocurrency – be acquired by Slate Entertainment Group subsidiary, Binge, a blockchain-powered, video-on-demand platform, for an undisclosed seven-figure total. Beyond Bitcoin is centred around insights shared by each of Roger Ver (CEO, Bitcoin.com), Perianne Boring (Founder & President, Chamber of Digital Commerce), and Ryan Radloff (CEO, CoinShares).
