The CEO of SingularityNet, Ben Goertzel, has stated in a Youtube video that he will be appearing on the Joe Rogan Podcast. He recorded a video from Hong Kong, and pointed out that he was about to fly to Los Angeles, where Joe Rogan records his podcast. Goertzel stated that the topics discussed would include artificial intelligence, decentralization, life extension applications of artificial intelligence, and other topics. He elaborated that they would talk about “life, the universe, and everything…pretty much everything that pops into our heads.” The Youtube video was posted on the official Youtube channel of Singularitynet.

Goertzel continued that he believes we live in “critical and special times”, and pointed out that human beings are for the first time creating a “superhuman artificial intelligence”. He also described the fact that human beings are “creating a decentralized human brain…that all connect together to create a novel ecosystem…which is going to transform all of our lives.”

He emphasized that he believes that more people than ever should be aware of the “decision processes”. Goertzel stressed that he wanted to describe what he is doing at SingularityNet as “widely as possible”. He stated that he is “really looking forward to talking to Joe Rogan on his show”. The podcast will occur “Tuesday afternoon, Pacific time”. The SingularityNet Twitter account also tweeted about the development.

For those who are unaware, SingularityNet aims to be the leading “global AI network”, in hopes that artificial intelligence will be shared and monetized at every scale. Specifically, the project aims to “democratize access” to artificial intelligence.

The Joe Rogan Experience is one of the world’s most popular podcasts, and is often credited with helping to usher in the “podcast age”, as it was launched in late 2009, when the podcast sector was not nearly as popular as it is today. The podcast regularly tops the charts to this day, and has become more popular than many TV shows. For example, Joe Rogan himself has stated that he regularly gets 30 million downloads per month, and that was several years ago:

The coin associated with SingularityNet is the AGI token, which currently sits at a market capitalization of a little over $26 million, and a price just below 5 cents on Coinmarketcap.
