Unocoin, the cryptocurrency exchange arm of the largest blockchain company in the Indian subcontinent, Unocoin Technologies Pty Ltd, announced the listing of five Ethereum-based ERC20 virtual tokens on Friday: Zilliqa (ZIL), FunFair (FUN), Golem (GNT), Bread (BRD), and Basic Attention Token (BAT).
Notably, the listings of the FUN and BRD tokens marked the first time that either had been made available on a domestically-based Indian crypto exchange; not all that surprising, given that CoinCheckup has their market cap rankings humbly positioned at #74 and #211, respectively.

As for the more popular cryptoassets – Golem, Zilliqa, and Basic Attention Token – Friday’s announcement by Unocoin signalled yet another listing on a domestic Indian crypto exchange.
For both GNT and BAT, they were already tradable on four of India’s other sizeable crypto exchanges – Zebpay, Koinex, Coindelta, and BuyUcoin. As for ZIL, Unocoin’s listing represents the fourth Indian exchange to have made it available for trade; the other three being Koinex, Coindelta, and Bitbns.

New Listings Marred By Deposit Debacle
Unfortunately, news surrounding the five ERC20 token listings has been somewhat tainted by a technical issue relating to Unocoin’s digital wallet. As CEO Sathvik Vishwanath detailed in his weekend press release, some 235 deposit transactions – most of which involved ZIL tokens – “did not get credited to user accounts.”
Whilst “all new deposits and all other types of transactions are happening on Unocoin without any issue,” the Indian blockchain company is still awaiting clarification from their wallet infrastructure provider, BitGo, regarding when these ~235 transactions will be processed. When resolved, Unocoin has promised “a 200 INR worth coupon in BTC” to all the affected customers.
