The world’s leading marketplace for online video game assets, OPSkins, has revealed not one but two partnerships with cryptocurrency collectible-driven games: CryptoPuppies and Ether Online.

CryptoPuppies is a decentralized game running on the Ethereum blockchain built on smart contracts. Players breed their virtual creatures, called CryptoPuppies, and then buy and sell them on digital marketplaces, which will soon include OPSkins. Every CryptoPuppy is unique – digital genomes define their appearance and attributes.

Ether Online is a decentralized MMORPG built on blockchain technology and one of the first of its kind. Various digital assets, each one unique, are crafted, owned and traded by players and are soon available for exchange on OPSkins.

All tradable assets from both games will be available for exchange using WAX tokens (WAX), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), US Dollars, Euros and other various currencies.

President of WAX and CIO of OPSkins, Malcolm CasSelle, had this to say of the partnerships:

Our fascination with collecting begins in childhood. It’s a very emotional attachment that we carry throughout our lives. The inception of blockchain-based collectibles presents a new opportunity for the crypto community to get involved, and game developers are taking notice. As the popularity of these Crypto Collectibles grows, so does the need for a trustworthy marketplace, which is where WAX and OPSkins come in. Integrating Ether Online [and CryptoPuppies] to that ecosystem is an exciting move for us and for the blockchain-based gaming community as a whole.”

OPSkins has grown rapidly to process over two million transactions weekly with millions of active customers, adding over 200,000 users every month.
