VeChain partners with DB Schenker for Logistics DApp

The crypto worlds leading Blockchain-as-a-Service platform, VeChain, have announced today a partnership with the world’s leading logistics provider, DB Schenker.

DB Schenker is the transport and logistics division of German railway heavyweight Deutsche Bahn and commands a network of over 68,000 logistics experts in 2,000 locations.

The collaboration with VeChain involves the development of a supplier evaluation system on the VeChainThor platform and is the first time such a system has been created on a Blockchain. DB Schenker will use it to score business partners and evaluate their services.

Potential future implementations could include a globally integrated platform shared by logistics services providers worldwide. VeChain says it is continuously aiming to optimize VeChainThor by including the world’s best service providers and businesses into the platform.

The news follows last week’s announcement of a successful trial by VeChain of their VeChainThor public testnet. The decentralized gaming platform, Plair, will be the first ICO to launch on the ecosystem.
